We are writing to express our deepest appreciation for agent John Foscolos. He came into our lives during a very difficult time. You see, we had just sold our previous home and were in the process of building a new home. Our previous agent had caused us so much money due to bad advice, and just wanting to sell our home to meet a contingency requirement on the new home he was selling us. Needless to say, the closing took a whole week, and we did not receive our money for almost a week after closing. The whole event was a fiasco, and it just made us very suspicious of real estate agents, period.

So when Mr.Foscolos came along we initially did not trust him, and mistakenly thought all real estate agents were the same. But we quickly began to see that he really was working for us. He gave us the pros and cons of purchasing certain properties. At times when it seemed like we would never find the right house; he encouraged us not to give up or settle for less. He spent numerous hours searching the MLS for leads, while advising us not to wait too long on decisions due to houses not being on the market very long. In short, Mr.Foscolos has reestablished the confidence that we now have to use a realtor. Now we know all realtors are not the same and that once in a while you can run across the right one and actually have a pleasant experience. In our book, Mr.Foscolos is the best realtor anyone can have the privilege of acquiring. Since meeting Jeanette Lamb in 1991 when we first moved to Charleston, SC, we have purchased three homes and sold two with her as our agent.
